I have considered your proposal on a Joint Venture regarding a Meditation on Laughter and a Laughter Mediation.  This venture may well to prove to be beneficial and, if nothing else, will be humorous for everyone involved (unless they die laughing, in which case they won't be humored any longer).  While I myself am less inclined to travel to Guffawville to discuss this event, a town called Chortleburgh in the nearby Isle of Mirth is well suited for it.  For this reason I would like to extend our communications to the planning stage, if you are so inclined.

Thank you for your recent request for information on potential collaboration. You may not know that Harmonic Hilarity, Inc has a well-established procedure for requesting meetings. Please obtain Form 3119X and fill it out completely (Make sure not to skip the back of page 32), in triplicate, and forward it to my secretary. Then fill out form 483-K to let us know that you've complied with the application requirements; my secretary will then inform me and we will seek Harmonic Convergence on the subject.

As for ghoulashes... can I have some, please? I especially like the Hungarian style.

Re: Forms and the forms

I have been diligently working to complete the forms you've mentioned.  After searching for some time, I discovered that your Form Warehouse was formed rather in a complex form.  This required Form 763EF, the Form for Entering the Form Warehouse as well as Form 764LF, the Form for Leaving the Form Warehouse.  I did manage to Enter and Leave the Form Warehouse, but did not receive the Forms you mentioned.  This required a new set of Forms: one to enter, one to take the Form-A-Vator to the Forms Desk, one to speak to the Form Representative, one to Receive and Use Forms, one to return to the Entrance, and one to Leave. 

I did not realize how formulated the forms were, so I am stuck on Form 3119X, page 15, item 247.  It asks "Please list all security issues related to your event."

We have no security issues that I know of.  I wrote in "none." and the Form went blank.  I found very tiny print on the back of the form that said, "If at any time this form becomes blank, you have skipped a vital question.  The only question you are allowed to skip is #893 on the back of page 32.  Please ask for Help at the HHI Help Desk.  You will need Form 511GH, the Form for Getting Help from the Form Representative.

I have attempted to contact Guido Fetuccini, our Security Manager, and will ask him whether there is a security issue we need to address.  If not, I will wait for a security issue to arise so I can write it into the form.

We of Harmonic Hilarity, Inc, apologize for both the forms snafu and our lack of responsiveness to your requests. Please consider all the above required forms to be waived.

Unfortunately, due to complex issues that don't involve much hilarity, but do call for some healing, HHI is kind of out of operation at this time. Laughing meditation will most likely have to go forward without involvement by HHI for the foreseeable future. At least this part of HHI; I don't speak for Jane here. Once things settle down (?) we will let you know.

My dear sir,

The meditation on laughter can take place at any time; the laughter meditation can take place at all times.  One does not require the other although both make the whole experience more enjoyable.  There is no immanent need to promote laughter as the GoH members have little difficulty partaking in it at the drop of a hat.  It quickly becomes infectious.  Feel free to join us during our weekly meditations, Sundays at 11:00am SL time.  We just happen to have started a series on balance and healing.  Harmony would also go well with those.

Enclosed is a sample of our newest Tonic:  Self-Pickling Brine Neutralizer (or, relief for the realization one has gotten one's self in a pickle).  I hope we have the recipe correct this time.
