For the Care of Elsie (Our Resident Feline)
« on: January 22, 2010, 08:25:30 PM »

Elsie came to play while I sat in the lodge and felt both sorry for myself and at peace with all the hubub around me.  It took at little time to convince her that schmoozing with me might be a nice idea, but finally she agreed that it would.

We spent a very nice afternoon contemplating the kitty and Healer Multiverses (after all, cats have nine and we have... well, many).  We didn't solve all the problems the Multiverses contained, but we gave it a heck of a go.

(These are also posted in the gallery)

Not sure what to say, but I'm sure it will make sense to someone when I finally say it.

Now if I could just meet that person.

'Tis a beautiful afternoon by the ocean.  Elsie has been fed and petted.  She is sitting by the mouth of the stream wishing fervently the lovely blue fish will leap up and play.  She has attempted to engage them in a game but they continuously avoid her.  At the moment she sits and contemplates another strategy....

For my part, I am taking advantage of the bonfire, and have it lit for the upcoming sunset.  Elise meows to the fish as I write in my tablet.

Elsie is a wee bit miffed with me today.  Oh, to be sure, she was fed and petted and got to watch the fish again.  That they still would not play with her was not exactly to her liking.  I suppose any fish would be  to her liking.

She is certainly unhappy with me at the moment.  I am on the west side of the Retreat enjoying Tai's Sunset Watch Landing.  It is quite lovely, but I had to make Elsie stay on the other side.  Pat 'n Archy are grateful for that.  There is new flora growing, which they like.

I think Elsie was a little happier today, with all of us keeping her company during the meditation.  Or was she keeping us company?  Whichever--it was warm by the fire, & pleasant all round.

Edit: Oops--ghaelen are we supposed to reduce the photos before posting? /me isn't sure how to do that . . .

In those first two images... you are just working too hard solving those problems. Smiley

lol, LC... not really.  We didn't intend to actually solve anything, but it was a good excuse to sit and commune.

Jane, if you click on the "additional options" plus sign below the text box, you can add an image up to 1280 x 728? I think.  The program then posts a thumbnail, and the pic becomes a link to the larger image if people want to see it up close.  Since there are so few of us here, we can upload larger images right to the server.  The gallery program does the same, I think in posting thumbnails and providing links to the larger image.

I went in the other day to check on Elsie. She was patiently waiting, looking rather bored, so I pulled up the stake and she quite happily started roaming around. I looked for options for friends but you folks have all the rights the system allows. Maybe FELINE 2.0 will allow different controls. Smiley
