Farewell Flight for Joy at Devokan
« on: January 26, 2010, 10:17:00 AM »

Hi all.

Dot IM'd me that she has to be out on Sunday the 31st of January.  What about the same time on Saturday February 6?  She said that was a good day even tho they plan to move.  I guess they'll start moving the rest of things after the party is over.   Sad

Hi ghaelen,

I'll be out of town on 2/6 until late afternoon, so I won't be able to come, sorry.Sad  Did you talk to LC?  (Since he doesn't seem to be reading the fora too regularly, lol.)  It might make a long day for him, with Music Night in the evening.

February 6 is looking like a good day for sand sculpture, but the music can at least start on automatic. What time were we thinking of starting?

It sounds like several of us won't be able to make it on Saturday.  I will pass that on to Dot.  Feel free to organize something during the week, but please talk to Dot yourselves as I can't promise to be around very much.  If you and she agree on a time and day I will try to come!   Cool dance

OK... Sometimes First Life (tm) gets in the way of these real life events. Another page in the book. But music can still be arranged, even at short notice, if conditions change during the week. Presence of the D'niJ is another matter, as he has become increasingly undisciplined, and inclined to go off and do things like moonlight bike rides at the drop of a (metaphorical) hat.

News from Dot:

There will be Devokan staff on site from 1000 Pacific onward. I'll have music too. If it rains I'll be there at least part of the time. If there's no rain I'll be on the beach, assuming my back (currently somewhat out of whack) will tolerate it.

Just keepin' y'all up to date here. Smiley

That is good news, LC!  If I'm home that day I'll try to stop in.   Cool dance
