Saturday Memorial and Welcome Home at Kahlo Pub

The Guild of Healers is sponsoring a Memorial and Welcome Home gathering at the Kahlo Pub. This is a casual gathering that will allow explorers to come together and remember those who have left us. It is also, in a way, a chance to welcome them home. There will be two sessions, each up to an hour long, during which people can drop by on their way, stay for a while, talk or not, and just be with others in the community.

Session times: 11:00am Cavern Time (1:00pm EST, 18:00GMT?)
6:00pm Cavern Time (8:00 EST, midnightGMT?)

We'll have a brief few words to welcome everyone (including those who have passed on) and ask whether anyone would like to speak. Throughout the hour, we'll let newcomers know they can say a few words if they'd like or not. We have no expectations as to size or actual duration of these gatherings, but there will be members of the GoH present for the full hour. There is no pressure on anyone to speak.

We'll circulate a KImail beginning today as well.

Thank you Ghaelen for organizing and hosting this event.  I thought it went quite well and seemed to touch many people.  I promised to chatlog the event and I did, but since others have already posted logs at the MOUL forum, I thought it would be redundant to post mine there.  Still, I thought the GoH might like to have mine just for their records, but I can't find spoiler tags here.  Any advice?  Thanks again for this thoughtful gesture.

Thanks, Tai, yes it seemed to go well.  I was glad for our other members there, too.   And I think a chatlog here would be great!  I will try to also work on the gallery more this week so people have a place to post images as well.

(02/20 19:33:56)  Ashtar: One good memory I had with Wolfie was during the 2007 Mysterium, just before MOUL was released. I had a special Myst T-shirt that he didn't have for his collection. Even though I really liked that shirt, I just had to give it to him. When I did, he just started crying. And then he got this smile on his face I'll never forget. It really made his day, and I'll never regret lettimg him have it.
